Senior Environmental Manager : Richmond, Virginia

EEE Consulting, Inc. (3e) is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist/Project Manager for a full-time position in the Richmond (Mechanicsville) Virginia office working on environmental, infrastructure, and water resource projects. The successful candidate would lead projects and multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and planners, and would help prepare technical and qualifications-based proposals.

3e is an employee-owned consulting firm of more than 35 professionals that provides environmental engineering, planning, and science services to local governments, state and federal agencies, and private sector clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

 

Job Summary:

Successful candidate will be expected to have technical expertise in the CWA, natural resources, environmental permitting and compliance, water resource investigations, regulated and hazardous materials, RCRA/CERCLA, and other environmental projects. Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects, develop project schedules, analyze and document environmental compliance, coordinate with others to determine requirements and incorporate feedback. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate with clients, contractors, outside consultants, government agencies and internal staff.

Required Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to write on a technical level

Required Experience

• BS in Environmental, Geological or Engineering related field.

• Masters in a relevant field preferred

• Professional registration or other relevant licensure/certification preferred

• 10+ years of experience in environmental field

• Experience with MS Suite of office solutions

• GIS experience preferred

Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer : Mechanicsville, VA

EEE Consulting, Inc. (3e) is currently seeking an entry level engineer with 1-5 years of experience for our Mechanicsville (Richmond), Virginia office. Ideal candidate will display knowledge of stormwater management and erosion and sediment control practices, stormwater BMP design, SWPPP development, MS4 permits and regulations, TMDLs, and environmental regulations and compliance. Must have or obtain Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control and Stormwater Management Plan Reviewer Certifications within one year of employment. Responsibilities will include inspections and reporting, SWPPP development, and coordination with clients. Experience with AutoCAD (particularly Civil 3D), Microstation, and/or GIS applications preferred. Project and personnel management experience a plus. While an engineering background is preferred, candidates with a background in environmental science or related studies and the technical ability to perform the aforementioned tasks will also be considered.
