Mid-Level Environmental Scientist : Mechanicsville, Virginia
3e has an opportunity for a Mid-Level Environmental Scientist to work on a full time basis in our Richmond, Virginia office. A Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources or related field is required. Ideal candidate will possess two to five years of related environmental experience, including knowledge of federal and Virginia regulations and broad environmental experience including wetland & stream delineation, Clean Water Act permitting and compliance monitoring, and NEPA; knowledge of Virginia stormwater regulations and T&E species identification experience is a plus. Some overtime hours and occasional weekend and nighttime work may be required depending on the job. Must be highly motivated and a positive team player. The position is approximately 50% field work and 50% office work on a variety of private sector, and local, state, and federal government projects. Field activities include wetland/stream delineation, stream assessments, compliance and mitigation monitoring, and other related field tasks.
Water Resources/Stream Restoration Professional : Mechanicsville or Blacksburg, Virginia or Cary, NC
EEE Consulting, Inc. seeks a mid-level scientist or engineer with a strong background in stormwater, watershed planning, and/or applied stream restoration engineering. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science is required; a masters is preferred. PE is preferred; North Carolina Registration a plus. Three or more years of experience is required. Knowledge of stream restoration related drafting (AutoCAD, Microstation) and/or ArcGIS required and hydraulic (HEC/RAS) modeling is preferred. Immediate availability is a plus. Position located in Mechanicsville, VA, Blacksburg, VA, or Cary, NC.
Water Resources/Hydraulics Engineer : Mechanicsville, Virginia
Candidate should have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in hydrology and hydraulic design. P.E. License preferred. Desired experience should include storm drainage design, stormwater management, BMP analysis and design, stream restoration, MS4 Program Planning, understanding of LID concepts and facility design, floodplain studies, familiarity with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, TR-55 and/or other similar hydrologic, hydraulic and drainage engineering design software. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation Geopak Drainage and VDOT experience a plus. Virginia DEQ stormwater, erosion and sediment control certifications are preferred.
The position will be based in our Richmond (Mechanicsville) Virginia office. Opportunities may also exist in our Blacksburg and Virginia Beach, VA and Raleigh, NC offices.
