Example Projects:Hanover County Open-end Environmental Services
Contract, Hanover Virginia. EEE has a 5-year open-end contract with the County for comprehensive environmental
services for the County Departments and the School Board. Projects include
technical expertise on a lawsuit file against the county; wetland permitting
for the Telegraph Road project; environmental evaluation of the impacts
of a 170 MW expansion of a gas-fired power plant; pilot study of a remedial
system and free product removal and monitoring for a gasoline release at
the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department; preparation of the Comprehensive
Plan Amendments for the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act; and preparation
of a NEPA document for the relocation of Bell Creek Road. Projects completed
for the Department of Public Utilities included environmental risk assessment
for a sewage lagoon closure, an odor study of a poultry processing facility,
stream monitoring for the Totopotomoy Wastewater Treatment Plant discharge,
and asbestos surveys and abatement at multiple buildings that were being
demolished for roadway, water and sewer improvements. Studies completed
for the School Board included radon testing of three schools, a feasibility
study of a 150-acre parcel for an elementary school site, and UST compliance
assessment. |
