National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
Example Projects:Corrections Corporation of America, Open-end
Environmental Services, throughout the U.S. EEE is helping CCA with National Environmental Policy
Act (NEPA) and environmental due diligence compliance on multiple projects
around the country. This included preparation of NEPA documents (E.A.s),
wetlands services, and Phase 1 and II Environmental Site Assessments
for correctional facilities in San Diego, California; Houston, Texas;
Elizabeth New Jersey; Milan, New Mexico; McCrae Georgia; Florence Arizona;
Pinal County Arizona, Mason Tennessee, Webb County and Laredo, Texas,
and Washington D.C. NEPA compliance is required by the U.S. Department
of Justice for construction/operation of private correctional facilities. Office of Justice Programs, Department of
Justice, Nationwide. EEE is
part of a team that has a 2-year open-end contract with the Office of
Justice programs for NEPA documents and environmental compliance. This
work includes technical review of reports and documents, preparation
of NEPA documents, development of compliance programs, and training of
staff and grantees on environmental compliance. |
