News and Announcements EEE is pleased to announce the following additions to our staff:Rhiannon Chandler, B. Sc., Environmental Scientist – Ms. Chandler has over 5 years experience in the federal government and private sector on a variety of environmental and resource management issues including environmental site characterization, ecological assessment studies, environmental data analysis and natural resource inventories. Ms. Chandler received the President’s Fellowship for Environmental Science from the University of Virginia in 2007. Michael E. Easter, B. Sc., Environmental Scientist – Mr. Easter has 1 year experience in environmental consulting including SPCC plans, storm water monitoring, environmental impact studies, and environmental assessment reports. Natalia C. Frost, B.Sc., Environmental Scientist – Ms. Frost has 2 years experience in environmental consulting including SPCC plans, storm water monitoring, environmental impact studies, and environmental assessment reports. Mike Harris, B. Sc., Sr. Environmental Scientist – Mr. Harris has over 15 years experience in environmental consulting including “Natural Channel” and wetland mitigation site design, jurisdictional delineations and permit determinations, practical avoidance minimization and mitigation solutions, numerous threatened and endangered species studies, site assessments for efficient abatement and corrective action, subsurface mapping and tracer studies. Mr. Harris completed River Restoration & Natural Channel Design courses provided by Mr. Dave Rosgen of Wildland Hydrology, and karst hydrology training. Ross A. Ward, M. Sc., P.E., Senior Engineer – Mr. Ward has over 19 years of experience in civil/environmental engineering and construction review services. His Project Engineer and Project Manager responsibilities on consulting projects including feasibility studies, engineering design and site development, storm water management and permitting, construction monitoring/management, regulatory review, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, and environmental auditing. Robert Wright, Ph. D., Sr. Environmental Scientist – Mr. Wright has over 22 years experience in environmental consulting. Mr. Wright holds the professional wetland scientist (PWS) certification from the Society of Wetland Scientists, and the professional wetland delineator (PWD) license from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Mr. Wright is a wildlife and forestry diplomate from PDCI, and holds numerous Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries collection permits for rare, threatened and endangered species. Mr. Wright is also a USFWS-qualified surveyor for the small whorled pogonia. In addition to environmental consulting, Mr. Wright was a paralegal in environmental law, a park ranger for the National Park Service, and assistant herbarium curator at his alma mater, Lynchburg College. EEE is please to announce the following recent certifications earned by our staff:Andrew E. Kassoff, Vice President, and Maria Mutuc, Environmental Engineer were recently licensed as Professional Engineers by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations. Chris Swanson completed all requirements to become a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) through the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. Mike Harris completed
