News and Announcements EEE is pleased to announce the following additions to our staff:Paul
Leeger has joined the Richmond office as an Environmental Scientist. He has 6
years experience in environmental consulting including contaminant
investigation and remediation, soil evaluation, wetland delineation, Phase I
and II Environmental Site Assessments, and GPS mapping.
Taylor Sprenkle, PWD, WPIT has joined the Richmond office as an
Environmental Scientist. Taylor has over 13 years of applicable overall
experience wetland delineation, stream flow determinations, stream assessments
for impact compensation, wetland and stream mitigation, determining Resource
Protection Areas pursuant to local Chesapeake Bay Preservation Ordinances, and
habitat evaluations and searches for rare, threatened, and endangered species
and communities. He has prepared numerous
Clean Water Act and Virginia Water Protection Program permit applications for
public sector and private sector projects of various sizes and complexity.
Scott Smizik joined
the Richmond office as an Environmental Scientist. Scott focuses on activities
related to regulatory compliance, environmental impact studies, and NEPA
documents. He has been the primary
author on approximately 30 NEPA documents for the National Park Service,
Federal Highway Administration, and other federal agencies. This work has
included coordination and compliance with associated state and local
regulations.
Jeff
Fisher has joined the Blacksburg office as a Project Environmental Scientist. Jeff has over 13 years of experience
providing clients with the design, implementation and management of a broad
range of environmental and related services. Projects have ranged from environmental site assessments for due
diligence and contamination delineation, to corrective action plans, site
restoration, demolition, and regulatory compliance.
Wanda Gibson has joined the Blacksburg office as the Office Administrator. She was
previously with Environmental Engineering, Inc.
Josh Hepler has joined the Blacksburg
office as a Staff Geologist. Josh has over 5 years experience in methodologies
associated with soil, surface water and groundwater sampling. Under the Virginia Department of Quality -
Storage Tank Program, he has compiled reports concerning Initial Abatement,
Site Characterization Reports, Corrective Action Plans and Implementation,
Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure, Tank Closure and Free Product
Recovery Reports, and UST/AST Permitting.
Jason Steele has joined the Blacksburg office as a Staff Environmental Scientist. Jason has over 5 years of overall
experience. His expertise includes
Stream, River and Watershed Management and Evaluation, Wetland Delineation and
Classification, Soil Taxonomy and Analysis, Hydrologic Assessment and Modeling,
BMPs for Forested Wetlands, Stream Characteristic Classification, and Road and
Stream Crossing Evaluation.
