Project Tasks and Responsiblities

3e completed wetland delineations assessment, secured a jurisdictional determination and acquired permits from the USACE and VDEQ. 3e prepared a comprehensive 1,300-foot stream restoration plan and a 0.9 acre wetland restoration plan for the 0.8 square mile drainage to Peach Bottom Creek to compensate for unavoidable project impacts. The stream restoration design was prepared to accommodate typical daily flow and high flow events as well as stream flow for the 2-, 5-, 10-, 25-, and 100-year rainfall events for the newly developed area.

3e Consulting worked closely with the contractor during all phases of the stream restoration activities. 3e conducted a preconstruction meeting outlining work required; equipment needed and provided permit education so they had a firm understanding of the project. Once restoration work began, 3e directed construction staff and provided project oversight through completion of the restoration project. 3e is currently performing post construction monitoring for the project which is required for 5 years after construction by the permitting agencies.
