Greenville-Sussex-Emporia Water Supply Plan

3e prepared the entire Regional Water Supply Plan for a 30-year planning period and wrote two successful DEQ grant applications, which were successful in securing $62,000 in grants to the Regional Alliance.  The first and second phases of the Water Supply Plan include water source and water use assessment, water resource conditions, population projections, water demand management information, drought response and contingency, and statement of need and alternatives. DEQ has approved all work on the first and second phases of the project.




Middle Peninsula PDC Water Supply Plan

3e assisted with the preparation of 2 DEQ Grant Applications, which were successful in securing $46,000 for a Regional Water Supply Plan. 3e prepared the first phase of the Water Supply Plan (Water Source and Water Use, Water Resource Conditions, Water Demand Management Information) for the PDC, which includes 141 public water systems throughout the counties of Mathews, Middlesex, Essex, King and Queen, King William, and the Towns of Tappahannock, Urbanna and West Point. 3e is now completing the second and final phase of the Water Supply Plan. The first phase of the Water Supply Plan includes water source and water use assessment, water resource conditions, water demand projections, and water conservation and assistance with public meetings.




Strasburg Water Supply Project and Treatment Plant, Strasburg, Virginia

3e was responsible for the water supply demand analysis, PER, water withdrawal permitting, river yield analysis required by DEQ, water conservation plan, as well as a cultural resource survey for a 3 mgd water treatment plant and water withdrawal on the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. In addition, 3e completed the studies for an Environmental Report for the Rural Development of the US Department of Agriculture.
