Radford Army Ammunition Plant Facility SWPP

To satisfy the requirements of the Facility wide Virginia Pollution Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) Permit, 3e prepared a comprehensive Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). The SWPPP included a field reconnaissance of the entire facility 6,000 acre facility and the 27 process units to identify all potential sources of pollution that could have contact with precipitation and prepared a map of site specific drainage patterns using ESRI ARC-GIS software. The comprehensive study prepared a series of appropriate structural and non-structural Best Management Practices (BMPs) and other recommendations for compliance with the existing VPDES permit.
